In a big step towards inclusivity and representation in Major League Baseball, the Arizona Diamondbacks invited us to be the Grand Marshals for one of their first-ever Pride Games. With open hearts and surrounded by our loving family, we proudly walked onto the field, symbolizing the ongoing progress of the movement towards LGBTQ+ representation in professional sports.

We felt deeply honored to be a part of this special game in our hometown of Phoenix. We recognized the significance of the moment and how far society had come since our own childhood days. Reflecting on my own personal journey, I couldn't help but imagine how the younger me, would have felt he could have witnessed this progress.

As we stood on the field, we represented hope and inspiration for countless individuals who had once felt excluded or overlooked. The Arizona Diamondbacks' initiative showcased the team's commitment to diversity and acceptance, making it a home run for all who believe in equality and inclusion.
